Requesting Articles, Books, and Book Chapters from Other Libraries

When you find an article listed in a research database, and the article is not immediately available to read, use the  button to search Pace's periodical holdings. If you get a message that directs you to use the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan service to request a copy of the article, follow the appropriate link.

There may be other times you need to request an article or a book. Maybe you found a citation in the References of a paper you just read, or on Wikipedia, or in a footnote in a book. You may request anything through ILL, but just make sure you fill out the required fields (with an *) AND click Submit Request.

  • First time users must create an account using their library barcode.
  • Articles and book chapters can take anywhere from 24 hours to a few days to obtain.
  • Books, conference proceedings and other documents are also available for request via Interlibrary Loan.
  • We can't request entire e-books through ILL
  • print books will clearly take longer than a scanned chapter or article
