There are many types of financial ratios that describe the health of companies and allow for clear comparisons within industries (e.g., gross margin, return on assets, debt to equity, etc.). These volumes report common ratios.

This publication provides "typical" balance sheets and income statements, and "common-size" financial figures, as well as Key Business Ratios. Norms and ratios allow for a quick check between one's own company and that company's line of business, or industry. One volume per year, 1989-90 through 2019; in-library use only.
