Librarians in Classes

If you don't need a full research workshop for your class, but you would still like help from a librarian available to your students, then the "Librarian in Classes" option may be for you.

Through the "Librarian in Classes" program, you are partnered with a librarian who is added to your course. You then work with your partner librarian to discuss the research assignment and support needed for your students.

  • The librarian can create a "Research Help" Discussion Board where they can post helpful information and answer questions from students.
  • Librarians can use the E-mail tool in Classes to push Library information and research suggestions to students.
  • Librarians can create links to existing Research Guides or the librarian can create a custom Research Guide for your course.
  • Librarians can link to Video Tutorials from the Library.
  • The possibilities don't end there, it's really up to you and your course librarian to decide how they can best support your students working on research papers and projects.
