Advertising Expenditures

These sources provide generalized costs and figures that may help you estimate costs.

Ad $ Summary - Ask at Reference Desk, the Librarian on duty can search the document for you.

  • You can see what a client has spent on advertising in the past, you can see what media a client has thought most appropriate, and you can see what your competition is spending and where they are spending.
  •  Includes an alphabetical listing of brands that includes the total amount spent on media by each brand, which media were used, and the name of the parent company.

  • Special issues of Advertising Age are kept on Reserve in the Birnbaum Library.   • AdAge Datacenter provides an annual summary of the cost of a 30-second spot.
