Library Catalog

To find books and e-books owned by the Pace libraries, use the "Books & Media" tab on the Library homepage.

Pace has three libraries:

  • Beekman Library on the New York City campus
  • Mortola Library on the Pleasantville campus
  • The Law Library on the White Plains Law School campus

If a book is located on a different campus, use the "Place Hold" button to have it sent to your campus library.  The book will arrive in 1-2 business days and you will get an email when it's ready to be picked up. Starting in Fall, 2020 you can also use the Request button to request books at your home campus Library. Request the book, and pick it up at the front desk. Your book should be ready for pickup in 24 hours.

Finding books on the shelf

Once you find a book in the catalog, how do you actually find it on the shelf?  If the book is listed as being in the Stacks, then you can use the book's Call Number to find it on the shelf. To find the book, copy down the title and the call number. Call numbers look something like this:

TD885.5.G73 V53 2011

Here at Pace (as at most universities) we use Library of Congress call numbers.  You can learn more about how to use Library of Congress call numbers here.

If you ever need help finding a book don't hesitate to ask the librarian at the Information desk for assistance.  We're very happy to come upstairs with you.
