Ground Beneath Our Feet

This guide is a supplement to The Ground Beneath Our Feet, an initiative that recognizes the location of Pace University's Lower Manhattan campus in New York City on unceded Lenape land near the African Burial Ground, at the convergence of Chinatown, Civic Center, Financial District and the Seaport.

The Ground Beneath Our Feet is a place-based, experiential humanities research and curriculum initiative at Pace University dedicated to empowering our students to connect the achievements and injustices of the past to their own lived experiences in New York City and beyond.
