Research paper (20% of Final Grade)
Select a topic related to your philosophy course for this assignment. Drawing on at least five sources not listed on the syllabus, write a research paper in which you explore a topic from class more deeply and express your feelings about it. Your paper should be more than simply a list of facts; you need to write an introduction giving a little background and ending in a thesis statement about what you’re going to research and what you’re trying to prove. Your paper should close with a conclusion reinforcing the importance or relevance of the topic. Remember to include a works cited page listing all of your readings.
Grading criteria for research paper
