Downloading Pace e-books

Many Pace e-books can be downloaded to mobile devices.  Please see the attached documents for download instructions.

Books 24x7

Books 24x7 is a database to which Pace subscribes.  Books 24x7 is a collection of E-books. This collection can be used to answer specific questions instantly to time-sensitive problems and issues, to brush up on a topic or learn more about a new technology, and to view the entire contents of a printed book prior to purchasing it to ensure it contains the right information. Instant access is provided to the full text -including code, examples, and graphics from the comprehensive library of over 1000 technology reference books and journals as well as the business topics of Business Skills, Employee Training & Development, Human Resources, Management & Leadership, Project Management, Team Skills , Corporate Case Studies & Interviews, Finance & Accounting, International Business, Marketing & Sales, Quality & Manufacturing Management, and Technology in Business.

 

Your first time using Books 24x7 you will need to register.  Click on the Register button on the log-in screen. 

 

Then you need to check your e-mail for the confirmation from Books 24x7.  Registration and access is free for Pace students, faculty and staff.

Finding E-books in the Pace catalog

You can search for e-books and online full-text in the Pace catalog, from Books 24x7 and other sources.  To find electronic materials, use the Books & Media tab on the library home page.

 

Once you have a set of results from your search, click on       at the top of the page

 

then limit the material type to Ebook
