The Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) seeks strong, meaningful, and sustainable relationships with Pace and its host communities. The CCAR works to connect students and university members with organizations to address common concerns in their communities.
The Center for Community Action and Research at Dyson College (CCAR) facilitates a multitude of service and civic engagement programs each semester. Many of these programs are produced in concert with other offices and student organizations at Pace.
You can always stop by our offices (or email us) on the Pleasantville or New York City campuses for assistance in finding volunteer opportunities both with our office and externally, but there are also many good online resources for prospective volunteers. Keep in mind that some organizations require background checks, trainings, and/or applications for all prospective volunteers.
