Getting Started: Request your Library Barcode and Activate your ILLiad Account

Your Library Barcode - The library barcode serves as your Pace Library Card and allows you to request items from other Pace Library locations and to request books from ConnectNY

  • Send an e-mail to – include your name and Pace U number in the message when asking for your Pace Library Barcode

To use the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan service, first you must activate your ILLiad account by logging in with your Pace username and password and completing the short registration form:

Configure your Google Scholar Account

Often, Google Scholar will show the citation for an article, but the full text of the article is not available for free online.  You can configure Google Scholar to link you to the full-text of articles available from the Pace databases.  If we don't have the article available, you can also request it through ILLiad Interlibrary Loan.

Create an NCBI Account

Create an NCBI account: be sure to go to the non-Pace website to create your account.
(Pace's authentication server interferes with the Captcha step in the registration process.)
