Books & Media Search

Requesting books from Other Pace Libraries

After you run a book search, you may see that Beekman Library doesn't own a book but the Law Library or the Mortola library does.

Just click on the Place Hold button on the right (screenshot below).  The print book will be send to Beekman Library, where you can pick it up on the 4th floor.

Expand your Results to include Other Libraries

Once you've completed a search, look at the left-side and click Held by My Library.

Notice that the default setting is Pace Law Library and Pace University (includes both Mortola and Beekman libraries)

Uncheck the Pace boxes and check the Libraries Worldwide box to view results from hundreds of libraries. You may use the InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service to request a print book (or digitized chapter) from another library. We are unable to borrow entire e-books from other libraries. If you request a chapter, we will send you an email within 24-48 hours with a link to download the PDF(s). If you request an entire book, the process takes longer: usually 7-10 days. Make sure you have enough time to wait before requesting a book.
