This course guide is a set of resources, activities, and information relevant for your ENG 120 research and writing needs.

By the end of this library instruction session, you will be able to: 

1. Distinguish between three types of information source types: scholarly jounrals, popular sources, and trade publications. 
2. Critically evaluate and interpret sources using the following parameters: currency, relevancy, audience, authority, accuracy, and purpose.
3. Cite and reference online sources appropriately and accurately, according to MLA style and formatting standards.
