Understanding News Sources

The purpose of this guide is to provide information and resources on the role of news and magazines and how to evaluate them for bias.

New York Times Access

Pace Resources

The Pace Library offers access to a variety of News Databases which allow you to search newspapers from around the world by topic. From the main library homepage, click on the Databases tab and then drop down the Subject list to News.

You can also use the Journal Title Search in the box below to search for specific periodicals and then be able to search within the source for specific articles.

After searching in Journal Finder (above), if Pace has access to the source, you will see a list of databases in which you can search for a specific article or review the most recent issues.

Check that the dates of coverage at the end of the link will include the article you need.
